The Legendary Eddie Van Halen Stereo Delay Sound in a Modern Pedal!

In 1983, Roland started a true revolution with the SDE-300 Delay. The SDE300 was the first of its kind: a digital rack delay with crystal clear repeats, countless routing options and the possibility of unprecedentedly long delay times. The precision and flexibility weren't the only charm: thanks to the high-quality, custom-made components, the SDE-300 retained an analog, musical vibe that you recognize out of thousands despite a digital heart. Now, 40 years later, Boss brings that same magical delay sound to your pedalboard in the form of the SDE-3000D and SDE-3000EVH.

The SDE-3000EVH was created in collaboration with EVH Gear and is based on Eddie Van Halen's impressive live setup. Eddie used a gigantic sounding Wet-Dry-Wet configuration with 2 original SD-300 rack units that he continued to use throughout his career. The SDE-3000EVH includes a number of connections that enable such creative setups. You have a direct output and an Effects Loop with optional ground lift. As icing on the cake, the EVH button hides a number of special presets taken directly from Eddie's personal SDE-300 units! All other features of the SDE-3000 are also present here, such as the 2 independently switchable delays and the in-depth Midi and Control implementation.
