Warm Audio WA-76 Discrete Compressor

Perhaps the most used compressor in studios worldwide. The 1176 was originally built by Urei and was the first solid state compressor that quickly made a name for itself due to its fast response time. Warm Audio makes a version of this compressor with transformers from CineMag. The latter also made the original transformers. Warm Audio has not only very successfully built this compressor after the vintage model of Urei, but Warm Audio has also made it affordable. Every detail has been thought of, even the famous "All-Button In" mode. This gives a very aggressive effect that can work crazy on certain sources. Furthermore, this compressor is so popular because of its versatility. Vocals, guitar, bass, drums, horns and so on.
The advantage of a hardware compressor is that you have a much more manageable signal during the recordings, this saves a lot of work during the final mixing.
