Weighing just 2.6 kg (5.5 lbs) and boasting a whopping 500 watts of power, the Ashdown RM-500-EVO II head is everything you could want from a modern bass amp. Leading quality and extensive functionality. The Rootmaster EVO II series is now also equipped with a built-in headphone preamp for late night practice sessions or when you don't want to be a nuisance to your neighbours. This bass amplifier therefore connects seamlessly from the living room to the larger stages! The preamplifier contains both a passive and an active input for use with high and low output signals. You can therefore adjust the input level perfectly, especially in combination with the Ashdown VU meter. This produces a crystal clear signal! Then your instrument's signal will see the 5-band EQ, built-in compressor and a pre-shape function. In addition, the RM-500-EVO II also has a very convincing tube drive emulator, for those wonderful muddy crack sounds. Ashdown's total solution!
