Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 63 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Aged Fiesta Red
A true classic: The '63 Fiesta Red Strat!
The early sixties were perhaps the heyday of the Fender Stratocaster. This 1963 reissue from the custom shop is a good example of this, starting with that beautiful, summery finish: Aged Fiesta Red. A nice detail are the clay dots in the Rosewood fingerboard, a nice warm accent that fits perfectly with the finish. This Custom Shop Strat is also sixties through and through in its sound and feel. For example, what about the '63 C-neck profile and the hand-wound Fat 60's pickups? This set also has a reverse wound/reverse polarity center element, which translates to extremely bright "middle positions"... think Mayer, Knopfler and Rothery! Includes Hardshell Case, Guitar Strap and COA.
