The early sixties were perhaps the heyday of the Fender Stratocaster. This 1963 reissue from the custom shop is a good example of that, starting with that beautiful, summery finish: Aged Fiesta Red. A nice detail are the clay dots in the Rosewood fingerboard, a nice warm accent that fits perfectly with the finish. This Custom Shop Strat is also sixties through and through in terms of sound and feel. What about the '63 C-neck profile and the Hand-wound Fat 60's pickups, for example? This set also has a reverse wound/reverse polarity middle element, which translates into extremely clear "middle positions"... think Mayer, Knopfler and Rothery! Includes Hardshell Case, Guitar Strap and COA.
