Fender JV Modified '50s Telecaster White Blonde
Very nice limited JV modified run by Fender. In White Blonde, with cool gold pickguard!
Fender's JV modified series combines classic looks with modern comfort to suit today's guitarist. Inspiration comes from the acclaimed "Japanese Vintage" reissue guitars from the early '80s.
This JV Modified '50s Telecaster in White Blonde is first made from a high-quality Basswood body. An interesting choice, because basswood sounds a bit darker and smoother than the often used Alder or Ash. This immediately makes the sound of this JV Modified Telecaster stand out. This also applies to the wiring of the pickups. You have access to a four-way switch, which allows you to choose not only between the 2 pickups; you can also switch them both on in parallel or series, for different sounds. The icing on the pickup cake is the additional push-pull function on the tone control, which switches the pickups out of phase in positions 2 and 4.
In terms of comfort, this JV modified Telecaster also has you covered, thanks to the Soft V-neck profile with 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets. Fans of Telecasters - with a twist - can indulge themselves with this blonde beauty! gig bag.
