Fender Vintera '50s Precision Bass Dakota Red
For players who want that old-school, authentic Fender feel: the Vintera '50s P-Bass!
The Vintera series is a cool, fresh line-up from Fender with models that take their inspiration from Fender's golden era: the 50s and 60s. And with this Vintera '50s Precision bass in beautiful Dakota Red, the legendary brand has figuratively hit the nail on the head. The bass really delivers that authentic grunting P-Bass sound that the older Fender basses are so famous for. This Vintera bass is also equipped with a maple neck with period correct (read: wonderfully chunky) '50s C-Shape profile. The maple fingerboard also has a vintage 7.25" radius, which provides wonderful playability. In terms of pickups, it's also all right, because Fender has designed a split-coil P Bass pickup especially for this series that has a real vintage character with a lot of punch and drive And because of the combination of the awesome Dakota Red finish with the gold anodized pickguard, it actually looks like an old-school bass.
