The Patrick James Eggle Macon Special has long been one of our favorite modern guitars, and we honestly feel that Patrick has outdone himself with this Macon Special, which is fitted with a Master Grade Quilted Maple top. This one has been selected by hand by Jan-Willem, and the result is breathtaking. The Charcoal To Blue/Black Burst finish gives the already unique top an incredible depth, and you'll have to see it in person to fully appreciate it, although the guitar already looks stunning in the photos right? A super deluxe Macon Junior, with some more usual vintage oriented specifications such as a Mahogany body (mahogany), and a Santos Rosewood fretboard. As we are used to from Patrick James Eggle, there are still some unique twists in this Patrick James Eggle Macon Special Custom Order. For example, the neck is made of Maple (maple), which then went through a roasting process. This not only looks super cool, but also gives the guitar a huge "snap" to the sound, with incredible stability. In terms of electronics, Patrick has opted for two Custom pickups, namely a Mojo P90 (instead of the usual Staple P90), and a Mojo Humbucker PAF sounds and P90 sounds in one guitar, where even the Humbucker can be switched to Split Coil.
