BEAUTIFUL PRS Custom 24-08 model from the Private Stock with one-piece quilted maple top and fretboard!

Sigh.. Whenever we think it couldn't get any better, Paul Reed Smith's Private Stock team manages to surprise and blow us away. This time with the PRS Private Stock #8669 Custom 24-08 Frostbite Glow. What a work of art, with all the trimmings. The one piece quilted maple top is finger licking good, rarely do you see such a lush and defined piece of maple. The high-gloss nitro Frostbite Glow finish enhances this effect, of course, because what a beautiful finish this is. In addition, quilted maple has also been chosen for the fingerboard and together with the Black Onyx birds inlay with mother-of-pearl outline, we can rightly speak of a Private Stock fingerboard. And then we haven't even seen the back of this Private Stock Custom 24-08, because the Swamp Ash body and neck are finished in a cool black color with an amazing white grainfill, which makes the grain of the Ash almost literally stand out. WOW! It is clear that the Private Stock team has an eye for detail, because the Smoked Black hardware and the aforementioned Black Onyx bird inlays on both the fingerboard and the headstock complete the color theme completely. In terms of sound - it will not surprise you - this Custom 24-08 Frostbite Glow is of course also very good, because the fantastic 58/15 MT pickups have been chosen (slightly warmer and vintage oriented than the standard 85/15 MT pickups of the Custom 24-08). Includes Private Stock Black Paisley color. Back in Black!

About the Custom 24-08

The Custom 24 was Paul Reed Smith's first major success and when we look at what has happened to the PRS brand in the meantime, we see that the best man and his proud team have not been sitting still. The PRS Custom 24-08 is a good example of this. Where the original Custom 24 already excelled in its versatility, the 24-08 takes it a step further: both pickups are separately switchable from Humbucker to Single Coil using the mini toggle switches, without audible loss of volume. This means that you have a total of 8 different sound options that all sound equally convincing.
