The Gibson J-45 is the best-selling acoustic Gibson model of all time, and the Translucent Teal finish gives this iconic slope-shoulder dreadnought a look that is as unexpected as it is memorable. The Sitka Spruce top on solid mahogany back and sides delivers the characteristic J-45 sound: warm, full, and direct, with punchy bass, rich mids, and excellent dynamic response. The Translucent Teal finish allows the wood grain to show through the color, giving the instrument a special depth that is even more beautiful up close than in photos.

The mahogany neck has a SlimTaper profile with a rosewood fretboard, MOP dot inlays, and 20 frets over a 24.75-inch scale length. The compound dovetail neck joint maximizes resonance and tone transfer. The Traditional Belly-Up rosewood bridge, TUSQ nut, saddle, and bridge pins, and Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the hardware. The LR Baggs VTC pickup makes the guitar ready for stage and studio straight out of the box.
