The OM-28 Modern Deluxe from Martin is the latest version of this legendary model. This guitar is packed with changes from the original design, and modern technology to take the next step in the evolution of the OM-28. Yet not everything is new, because some things about a Martin should not be changed. For example, the guitar is equipped with a Sitka Spruce top firing Vintage Tone System (VTS) top, a dovetail neck joint and the whole is put together with the so-called "natural protein glue construction" to achieve the rich, well-known Martin sound. to generate. The modern feel of the OM-28 Modern Deluxe is especially reflected in the looks with a beautiful European Flame Maple binding, stylish gold frets and gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s script logo inlaid with pearl on the headstock of the guitar. In addition, the OM-28 Modern Deluxe is equipped with an ultra-tough titanium truss rod, Liquidmetal® bridge pins with red dots, and a carbon fiber composite bridge that increases volume and projection without adding weight to the guitar. What is the difference between OM and 000?

At first glance you probably won't see the differences between the 000 model and the popular OM or "Orchestra" model. Both Bodyshapes are indeed almost identical, but the differences lie in the neck. The 000 has a man hour of 24.9", where the OM has a man hour of 25.4". And you can feel that difference: the string tension is lower with a 000, and all frets are a bit closer together. A second difference is the width of the nut: it is a fraction wider with an OM.
