2001 aged / painted Tom Murphy Aged Heritage Cherry Sunburst Les Paul '59 in unplayed condition!!

This Gibson '59 Historic Reissue Les Paul is a unique gem of a guitar. This Les Paul from the Gibson Custom Shop has been hand-aged by none other than Tom Murphy. The body and neck are made from one piece of Honduras Mahogany and the top is finished in a beautiful Heritage Cherry Sunburst, with a truly incredible flame. The crackle is very tastefully and subtly applied to this top for an extra lived-in, vintage look. The nickel hardware is also beautifully provided with a light patina. A pair of Classic '57 humbuckers immediately transport you back to the late fifties with their unmistakable, creamy sound. The neck of this '59 is just right: nice and sturdy, but still extremely comfortable as you would expect from a '59. This in combination with the modest weight and incredible sustain makes this Historic Reissue not only a collector's item but also a real player!

This Les Paul comes in factory fresh condition. The pots, caps and pickups are completely original. All hang tags are present, as well as the Certificate of Authenticity. This certificate is signed by Rick Gambler, Tom Murphy and Edwin Wilson. The included case is the matching Gibson Custom Shop Lifton Reissue Braun Case, with luxurious pink plush on the inside.
