Mark Lettieri's Signature Overdrive, with hugely flexible graphic EQ!

If anyone has live and studio experience, it's Mark Lettieri, the American guitarist who is making waves as a solo artist and as a band member of Snarky Puppy and Fearless Flyers. He has been using J. Rockett's pedals for years, so it's not surprising that they've teamed up to develop a signature overdrive: The J. Rockett Melody Drive.

The approach of the Melody Drive is simple, but also ambitious: this overdrive must be able to sound beautiful for any amplifier. The idea is that you can adjust the EQ curve to suit whatever backline amp you come across. Whether you're presented with a Fender Twin or a Vox AC30, the Melody Drive's graphic EQ allows you to accentuate the fine frequencies and cut out the unwanted ones. You will notice this especially in the quite powerful bass register, because with this you can effortlessly turn away any form of "boominess".

The overdrive and sound of the Melody Drive are loosely based on the J. Rockett The Dude. So you can expect a smooth, full and vocal overdrive that bounces wonderfully with your attack and playing.
