The Darkglass Exponent 500 is the result of over two years of intensive development and represents a completely new concept: the Powered Platform. Out of the box, the Exponent 500 is an extremely clean and powerful 500W bass amplifier. But as soon as you connect it, it transforms into a fully programmable multi-effect system with adjustable signal chains, compressors, distortions, modulation effects, preamps, and Impulse Responses, all controlled by a powerful DSP.

The sound of the Exponent 500 is ultra-clean, dynamic, and incredibly versatile. The Class D module delivers 500W of power with a minimal footprint and maximum portability. The built-in audio interface allows direct recording without additional hardware, while the DSP library is constantly expanded through firmware updates. The Exponent 500 delivers 500W via a Class D module and features a fully programmable DSP section with compressors, distortions, modulation, preamps, and IR loading.
