The Earthquaker Devices Aurelius is not a middle-of-the-road chorus pedal. You can choose from 3 modes: Vibrato, Chorus and Rotary. In addition, you can control the speed hands-free with an expression pedal and you can save 6 presets. The Chorus Engine itself is based on the warm, atmospheric sound of the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble from the 1970s. However, the Aurelius goes much further thanks to the very powerful rate and width controls. With the Balance knob you can adjust the balance between the effect and your dry signal so that you can give even the most bizarre sounds a perfect place in the mix.
