The Warm Audio Centavo MOD adds extra low-end to classic overdrive
The Warm Audio Centavo MOD brings a Klon Centaur-inspired overdrive in a compact pedal, with an extra switch for more low-end. According to the existing product specifications, the circuit uses the same components as the full-sized Centavo. This makes this pedal aimed at guitarists who want to combine the familiar Centavo controls with a different low-end tuning.
With the gain knob, you determine how much drive you add, while treble and output help you to match the clarity and output level to your amplifier. This allows you to use the overdrive subtly or bring it more to the foreground. The MOD switch on the rear panel extends the low frequency range, useful when you are looking for just a bit more foundation in your playing. Thanks to the buffered bypass, the signal continues to run even when the effect is switched off.
This Warm Audio overdrive has three controls: gain, treble, and output. The MOD switch is located on the back of the pedal. For your signal chain, there is one 6.35mm instrument input and one 6.35mm output to the amplifier. This keeps the operation clear and allows you to quickly hear what the extra low-end setting adds to your setup.
