Perhaps one of the most beautiful classics; the ES-335 in Vintage Burst!

The Gibson ES-335 is undoubtedly one of the greatest guitar designs of all time. An incredibly versatile classic that has inspired generations of guitarists, from rock and blues to jazz and country. Thanks to its blend of solid-body stability and hollow-body resonance—with that iconic solid maple center block —the ES-335 offers a rich, open tone that is far more resistant to feedback than a full hollow-body.

Epiphone, in collaboration with Gibson Custom , is now bringing back a special piece of history: the 1962 ES-335 Reissue . A deliberate nod to a model year that Gibson Custom itself isn't currently reissue, but is beloved for features like rounded cutaways, small block inlays, and a wonderfully fast, slim neck.

The semi-hollow body is constructed of 5-ply maple/poplar with a solid maple center block for sustain and stability. The one-piece mahogany neck has the classic 1960s SlimTaper™ C profile and features a rosewood fingerboard with beveled edges, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and mother-of-pearl small block inlays—fully in line with the historic 1962 specifications, even down to the precisely placed side dots.

The Gibson-style open-book headstock boasts the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown in aged pearloid, complemented by smooth-turning Epiphone Deluxe tuners with Double Ring Keystone buttons and a Graph Tech® nut. At the other end, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge with a historic aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece keeps the strings tight and firmly anchored to the center block, further enhancing sustain.

In terms of electronics, this model is a purist's dream: two USA-made Gibson Custombucker™ humbuckers, hand-wired with CTS® potentiometers and Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors. The result? The full, dynamic ES-335 sound that truly lets you go anywhere—rock, blues, jazz, country, and much more.

The Sixties Cherry and Vintage Burst versions have a beautiful vintage gloss that immediately evokes that old-school vibe. And to top it all off, the 1962 ES-335 Reissue comes in a vintage-style black hardshell case with a Goldenrod interior and Inspired by Gibson Custom graphics.
