In the early 1960s, the Wilshire was one of Epiphone's most distinctive solid-body guitars, and the 150th Anniversary version brings it back with the original batwing headstock, a symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body, and a Pacific Blue finish that perfectly captures the vintage California vibe.

The big news is in the pickups: real Gibson Mini Humbuckers, made in the USA, and wired to CTS potentiometers and a Switchcraft toggle switch. The Mini Humbucker has a bright, articulate tone with less low-mids than a standard humbucker, giving the Wilshire an open and cutting sound that works excellently for blues, rock, and pop. The Tremotone vibrato and LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge complete an instrument that sounds and plays as good as it looks.

Mahogany body and neck with 60s SlimTaper D-profile, Indian Laurel fretboard with Dot inlays, 22 frets on a 24.75" scale length, and Wilkinson six-on-a-plate tuners with metal buttons.
