The Furch GNc 2-CW: Grand Nylon with cutaway and the new CNR Active truss rod system
With the GNc 2-CW, Furch has built a nylon string that resolutely breaks with the conventions of classical guitar design. The Grand Nylon body with cutaway invites you to explore the entire fretboard, while the combination of carefully selected tonewoods ensures a sound character that immediately impresses. This is a guitar for the player looking for warmth, playing comfort, and modern functionality in one instrument.
Western Red Cedar as the top provides a direct, warm tonal response with a rich mid-range presence, while Black Walnut back and sides ensure clarity and surprising volume. The dynamic range is impressive: from intimate fingerstyle to energetic flamenco, the GNc 2-CW responds honestly and nuanced to every touch.
The neck is crafted from African Mahogany with an Ebony fretboard and bridge, finished with an open-pore finish on both top, back, and sides. The distinctive Furch Soft-V neck profile plays comfortably and effortlessly, even during long sessions. A special feature is the new CNR Active system: Furch's own active truss rod technology that keeps the neck stable under all conditions and makes it precisely adjustable, regardless of temperature or humidity fluctuations. Scale length 650 mm, nut width 45 mm, Black TUSQ zero fret and saddle for optimal intonation. Binding in faux tortoise, purflings in black and white line, satin transparent pickguard.
The Furch GNc 2-CW is the nylon string that proves that tradition and innovation reinforce each other.
