The Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special puts simplicity at the heart of a rock classic

The name Joan Jett stands for a direct, energetic rock attitude, and that connection is the heart of this Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special. The compact Olympic body is crafted from mahogany and finished in Vintage Sunburst gloss. With its single black pickguard and striking shape, this solidbody has a look all its own, with no unnecessary frills. This makes it an accessible choice for guitarists looking to learn their first riffs as well as for players who like to get straight to the point.

The PowerHammer PRO humbucker at the bridge gives the guitar a solid, direct foundation for rock chords and riffs. The controls remain deliberately straightforward: one volume knob and an on/off toggle switch. You don't need to master a complicated set of knobs to start playing. Plug it into your amp, set the volume, and discover how your touch and amplifier shape your sound together.

The mahogany neck is glued-in and features the Olympic Special profile. On the rosewood fretboard, you will find 22 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, and a 12-inch radius. The 24.75-inch scale length feels familiar and provides space for both open chords and riffs and bends. The simple layout makes the neck easy to navigate for beginners, while experienced guitarists will appreciate the direct response.

The MTB605 bridge, nickel hardware, black speed knobs with rubber grip, and cream mounting rings complete the finish. The white pickup covers create a recognizable contrast with the black pickguard. The guitar features die-cast tuners, two strap buttons, and a black/white two-layer truss rod cover. A gig bag is included. A characterful Epiphone for those who want to take home a piece of no-nonsense rock with the Joan Jett connection.
