The result is this Sandberg Forty Eight Victor Brandt Signature Black Matt, and what an incredibly rough and tight bass this is. With its European Ash body and Canadian Hard Rock Maple neck, this Forty Eight immediately delivers punch and definition, an effect that is further enhanced by the ebony fingerboard. The whole is completely finished in black, which gives this Victor Brandt signature a really cool look, and that of course fits completely.
