One of Martin's classics: the OM-21. Simple and elegant with a wonderful playability!

Who doesn't love a nice OM guitar? The Martin OM-21 is the little brother of the OM-28, as they share the same wood configuration, namely a solid Sitka Spruce top + solid East Indian Rosewood sides and back. This traditional combination of woods produces a very balanced sound with a beautiful, clear presence in the highs. Add to this the scalloped X top bracing and the result is a full, tight sound that comes into its own in both a band mix and a stripped-down setting. Because the cosmetic features of the Martin OM-21 are kept fairly basic and minimal, this is a real no-nonsense guitar that draws its beauty from its apparent simplicity. Beautiful! Including hardshell case.

What is the difference between the OM and 000?

At first glance, you probably won't see the differences between the 000 model and the popular OM or "Orchestra" model. Both body shapes are indeed almost identical, but the differences are in the neck. The 000 has a scale of 24.9", where the OM has a scale of 25.4". And you can feel that difference: the string tension is lower on a 000, and all the frets are a bit closer together. A second difference is the width of the top nut: it is a fraction wider on an OM.
