This Fender American Ultra II Jazz Bass, made of select alder, has a smart body contour and a quarter-sawn, extremely stable neck. Thanks to the modern D profile with rolled edges, the ebony fingerboard and medium-jumbo frets, this Ultra II plays incredibly fast, with an extra fast, agile feel that you are used to from a Jazz Bass. Thanks to the extra recessed heel joint, the higher frets are extra easy to reach. And extra cool: the Luminlay Side Dots ensure that you won't get lost on the neck, even in pitch darkness!
Under the hood of this Ultra II Jazz Bass you will find a set of specially designed Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass Pickups. These pickups are not only completely hum-free; they sound incredibly authentic, with that unmistakable jazz bass snap as well as a vintage warmth - depending on how you play and where the controls are. Those controls are also very powerful; the preamp can be actively switched, so that you can use a 3-band active EQ with an adjustable midrange. This way you can effortlessly give this Jazz Bass exactly the right spot in even the busiest mixes. Comes with a luxury Fender Hardcase!
