The sides and back of these Lazarides are made of completely solid cypress in combination with a completely solid spruce top. These two woods work together for a rich, complex and dynamic sound. Every single string is perfectly audible and balanced, wherever you are on the neck. And speaking of which: the fingerboard is made of Ebony, a fine, hard wood that feels solid under your fingers.
