Lowden's fiftieth birthday is being celebrated in style with a very special, limited series of Anniversary models. That certainly applies to this S-35 and that is not least due to the Walnut sides and back. Walnut, especially in combination with the Cedar top, guarantees a crystal clear, deep sound with a fast, fresh attack . This makes the S-35 ideally suited for fingerpicking; you don't have to do anything to get that characteristic, magical Lowden sound. In addition, each copy of the 50th Anniversary series has been custom voiced by none other than Aaron Lowden, the son of founder George Lowden! Aesthetically, this S-35 is adorned with a number of special features. To start with, you will find a special 50th Anniversary Label on the inside. The headstock is also decorated on both sides by a special inlay, as is the heel joint. This very limited and special Lowden comes with a luxurious Lowden Hardcase.
