Warm Audio WA-47F Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The secret weapon of many studios: The WA-47F
The Warm Audio WA-47F is the perfect microphone when you want to record loud, energetic sound sources such as kick drums or rock vocals. Like the 1969 original, the WA-47F trades the tubes in the WA-47 for uncompromising FET transistors. These FETs in combination with the authentic K47-style capsule ensure that the WA-47F can effortlessly handle even the loudest and most intense sound sources. Leading musicians like Daft Punk and Dave Grohl used the original '47 FET on kick drums, while giants like Michael Stipe and David Lee Roth sang their most energetic takes through it. Characteristic of the WA-47F is that the microphone maintains an extremely wide frequency range, even under the most extreme SPL values. A real powerhouse, perfect for every rock producer!
