The Martin D Junior E: Full Dreadnought Sound in a More Compact, Travel-Ready Package
The Martin D Junior E proves you don't need a large guitar for a big sound. With a slightly more compact D Junior body than a standard dreadnought, this guitar is easier to hold and transport, but the sound is anything but small. Whether you're practicing at home, writing songs, or taking it on the road, the D Junior E is always ready to be played.
The solid spruce top provides a bright, dynamic tone with plenty of character, while the sapele back and sides add warmth and a punchy midrange. The scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and projection, ensuring the guitar sounds full even with its smaller body. Want to plug in? The built-in Martin E1 electronics with integrated tuner ensure you're always stage-ready.
The neck features a Performing Artist profile with High-Performance Taper: comfortable for beginners, but also pleasant for those with more playing experience. The Richlite fretboard plays smoothly and has Style 28 faux abalone inlays. With 20 frets on a 24.9" scale length and a 1 3/4" nut width, playability is excellent. The satin chrome enclosed gear tuners offer stable and reliable tuning. Delivered with a softshell case.
The Martin D Junior E is an ideal first serious guitar, but also a perfect travel companion for the experienced player. Come and try it out in our store.
