American Vintage II Jazzmaster in a beautiful Dakota Red finish!

The Fender American Vintage Series guitars each very effectively represent a specific guitar from a specific year. Neck, body, hardware and pickups are completely modeled after the original. Each guitar in this special series captures the essence of Fender's golden era!

This is also the case with this '66 Jazzmaster. The Jazzmaster model was initially launched as the guitar with "all the best that Fender has to offer today". The intention was to also persuade Jazz guitarists to leave their Archtops in the corner and go for a Jazzmaster. Although it is generally accepted that this did not quite work out, the Jazzmaster captured the hearts of generations of surf, indie and rock guitarists, among others. The model guarantees crystal clear trebles and a wonderful "jangle" that has become a permanent fixture in guitar music. You hear them everywhere!

This American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster plays like a charm thanks to the C-shape maple neck with a nice convex 7.25" radius in the rosewood fretboard. Characteristic for Jazzmasters from 1966 are the matching headstock, floating tremolo and the chic pearl block inlays. you also have access to both the rhythm and lead circuit, which can transform the Jazzmaster from a whining machine to a warm, sultry jazz machine. The '66 Pure Vintage Fender pickups sound as they should in any setting.
