Brian May's signature tone, straight from the original master tapes to your pedalboard
The DigiTech Brian May Red Special is no ordinary effects pedal — it's an accurate reconstruction of Queen's iconic tones, created in collaboration with producer Eddie Kramer, who digitized the authentic sounds from the original master tapes. For guitarists who take Brian May's tone seriously, this pedal is an extraordinary find, especially in this complete and excellent condition with original packaging.
The pedal contains seven carefully captured models, each named after a classic Queen song: from the raw energy of Keep Yourself Alive to the delicate nuances of A Winter's Tale. What sets this pedal apart is the built-in analog treble booster — the first effect in Brian's signal chain — so you don't need a separate booster pedal. The input selector adapts the pedal for both single coil and humbucker guitars, and the three output modes allow use with one amplifier, a stereo mixer, or two amplifiers simultaneously.
The pedal offers seven presets (KYA, BoRhap, TYMD, WWRY/WATC, CLTCL, Brighton Rock Solo and Deacy Tone), an integrated analog treble booster, adjustable input for single coil and humbucker, and three output modes for mono and stereo use. An optional FS3X footswitch (not included) provides hands-free access to each model. This unit is complete with original packaging and is in excellent condition. A rare opportunity for the serious Queen enthusiast or Brian May guitarist.
