Myles Kennedy is one of the most prominent and versatile guitarists of his generation. His work with Alter Bridge, The Conspirators and Slash covers many different styles, from hard rock to jazz and from country to blues. This Signature Paul Reed Smith takes a T-Style guitar as its starting point, but adds a whole new dimension for maximum flexibility. There's plenty of twang in this PRS, but so much more!

The body of the PRS Myles Kennedy is made of swamp ash, a type of wood that will undoubtedly appeal to T-style enthusiasts. Swamp ash is nice and bright and has an emphasis and focus in the treble and upper mids frequencies. The neck and fingerboard of the Myles Kennedy are made of maple. A proven combination! The Pickups are perhaps the most interesting aspect of the Myles Kennedy. The Narrowfield MK pickups are humbuckers, but when you're playing, you'd swear you're dealing with single coils. That's how clear, direct and twangy they sound! The advantage of these pickups is that they do not hum when overdriven and the possibility to split them. This is where the five-way pickup switch comes in; in addition to the three traditional pickup combinations, you also have access to 2 positions in which the pickups are split. Another innovative addition is the top end roll-off that houses the push/pull function of the tone control. This allows you to make the bridge pickup sound a bit darker. Ideal when you want to rock hard, or when you are simply looking for something less fierce.

The PRS Myles Kennedy is further completed by a PRS plate-style bridge with two saddles, vintage-style locking tuners and chic bird inlays. Each copy comes in a deluxe PRS gig bag.
