The Stratocaster Todd Krause built with his own hands for those who want the best
A Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt is not a guitar you just stumble upon. This one was built by hand by Todd Krause, one of the most respected master builders at the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California. Each Masterbuilt is a unique instrument, tuned to the highest standards of tone, playability, and finish. This is the Stratocaster in its purest form.
The tone of this Strat is bright, dynamic, and layered. The three Fender Noiseless pickups deliver the classic Stratocaster sound without the hum that single coils normally produce, making this guitar particularly versatile for studio and stage. The touch response is exceptionally fine, with a glassy clean tone in the neck position and that characteristic quack in the in-between positions.
The body is crafted from Alder, the wood that forms the basis of the most iconic Stratocasters ever built. The rift sawn Maple neck with a 60's Style Oval "C" profile fits comfortably in the hand and offers the stability you expect from Custom Shop quality. The Maple fretboard has a 9.5" radius and 21 narrow tall frets with Micarta Black Dots inlays. The 25.5" scale length and vintage-style tuning machines complete the classic picture. Includes hardshell case.
A Masterbuilt from Todd Krause is an investment in an instrument that will last for generations.
