Maton Troubadour Traditional – Australian Craftsmanship in a Timeless Dreadnought
The Maton Troubadour Traditional is a guitar that brings together the rich tradition of Australian guitar building in a single instrument. With a traditional deep body design and carefully selected tonewoods, this acoustic guitar delivers a warm, full sound that immediately appeals to both fingerpickers and strummers. The satin Tobacco Sunburst finish gives the instrument a classic, timeless look.
The sound of the Troubadour Traditional is rich and balanced: the A Spruce top provides clear highs and a fast response, while the solid Queensland Maple back and sides add a clear, defined bass and a pronounced midrange. The Scalloped Maton X-bracing enhances resonance and gives the guitar an open, dynamic character that blooms beautifully with harder playing. The built-in AP5 PRO pickup also makes the guitar excellently suited for live performance.
The neck is crafted from mahogany and offers comfortable playability thanks to the 12" fretboard radius and 21 frets of Jescar FW43080 fretwire on a streaky ebony fingerboard. The scale length is 25.5", the nut width is 1.736", and the fretboard inlays are 6mm pearl dots. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure stable tuning, and the bone nut and saddle contribute to optimal tone transfer. The guitar comes with a Standard Maton Case and is strung with Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze strings.
