Crazy Tube Circuits Falcon: the 5E3 Tweed Deluxe and 6G2 Brownface Princeton in one pedal

The Crazy Tube Circuits Falcon has an interesting origin story. In 2016, the Crazy Tube Circuits team built an amplifier on request that needed to be able to vary between the sound of a 5E3 Tweed Deluxe and a 6G2 Brownface Princeton. They were so pleased with the result that they decided to put those same sounds into an overdrive pedal. The Falcon is the result: a seemingly simple pedal with a surprisingly broad and characterful sound palette.

The Falcon sounds extremely dynamic and responds perfectly to your guitar's volume knob. The Tweed side is stickier and more chaotic, with a characteristic break-up reminiscent of an overdriven Tweed amplifier. The Princeton side overdrives the lows convincingly and has a slightly tighter, more controlled character. The gain control has an impressively wide range and offers a lot of great tones across the entire spectrum.

The Falcon is handcrafted in Greece by Crazy Tube Circuits, runs on 9V power, and is an excellent choice for guitarists looking for authentic vintage amp sounds in a compact pedal.
