Crazy Tube Circuits Memphis Harmonic Vibrato: authentic pitch-shifting vibrato with analog LFO and clean preamp
The Crazy Tube Circuits Memphis Harmonic Vibrato is designed as the compact brother of the Killer V: a true pitch-shifting vibrato without a drive section, for guitarists who want the authentic vibrato sound of classic amplifiers in a compact pedal. The Memphis uses a fully analog LFO and a two-stage pitch-shifting circuit, powered by an internal voltage multiplier for high headroom and improved dynamic response. A clean preamp with up to 20dB boost takes you back to the late 50s and early 60s.
The Memphis sounds warm and organic: with the Intensity and Speed knobs, you can add a subtle shimmer or a pronounced 3D acoustic image with a musical vibrato effect for instant classic Lonnie Mack and Robert Ward sounds. The Wet/Dry toggle switches between 100% modulated signal or a parallel mix of dry and modulated signal, creating swirling phaser/vibe sounds similar to some original amplifiers.
The Memphis is hand-built in Greece by Crazy Tube Circuits and runs on 9V power. A special and characterful pedal for guitarists who want to rediscover the magic of vintage vibrato.
