Crazy Tube Circuits Space Charged V2: Tube-Driven Overdrive with Flexible Boost, Powered by a 12AX7
The Crazy Tube Circuits Space Charged V2 is an overdrive pedal with a real 12AX7 tube at its heart, and you can hear it immediately. The tube provides a warm, complex overdrive that responds perfectly to your picking dynamics, your volume knob, and other overdrives in your signal chain. Operation is simple yet powerful: beneath the Tone and Gain controls lies a world of tonal colors, and its high headroom also makes the pedal excellent for use as a boost for an overdriven amp.
The V2 adds a flexible boost section to the original Space Charged circuit, with separate Volume and Gain knobs for the boost. This allows you to tailor the boost precisely to your setup: from a subtle volume push to a powerful, tube-driven kick that pushes your amplifier over the edge. The combination of overdrive and boost in one pedal makes the Space Charged V2 extremely versatile and suitable for a wide range of musical styles.
