The Alhambra 2C: the step up from the 1C, with a luxurious look and a more nuanced sound
The Alhambra 2C is the logical next step for the guitarist who has gotten to know the 1C and is ready for something more. Part of Alhambra's student series, but with a number of upgrades that elevate the instrument to a higher class. An extra binding around the top gives the 2C a neat, luxurious appearance. The melamine nut and bridge ensure a round, nuanced sound with well-balanced tone transfer. And as with all Alhambra guitars: this instrument is truly made in Spain, by a company that has been building guitars for over fifty years with an eye for detail and sustainability.
The sound is warm and vibrant. The solid A+ cedar top responds quickly and produces a direct, clear tone suitable for classical playing, as well as pop and fingerstyle. The laminated mahogany back and sides complement the sound with a round, balanced tone. The action is set slightly lower than on the conservatory models, which makes playing more pleasant for beginners without compromising on quality.
The mahogany neck has a 52 mm nut and a 650 mm scale length, standard for a classical guitar. The rosewood fretboard offers a smooth playing experience. The finish is natural lacquer. Delivered with a gig bag.
For the guitarist who wants to take a step further and is looking for an instrument that grows with them.
