The Boss AD-2 Acoustic Preamp is really a must-have if you often play live acoustic guitar. In addition to a DI function, you can fine-tune the timbre of your guitar by giving more or less body to the sound. With the Ambience knob you can make the guitar sound a little less "dry" and "direct" without losing the natural sound in a bucket of reverb. And the Notch filter ensures that howling or feedback is a thing of the past. And what is of course even more convenient is that the pedal also has a "mute" function so that you can safely plug in and unplug cables.
