The Bourgeois LDBO 12 in Argentine Grey Burst: Mahogany Warmth with a Hand-Voiced Adirondack Top

The Bourgeois LDBO 12 LDB2 is a guitar that will surprise you. Its 00-size is compact and intimate, but the combination of a hand-voiced solid Adirondack spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides delivers a sound that is much larger than its body suggests. The Argentine Grey Burst finish gives the instrument a vintage character that immediately stands out.

Adirondack spruce is known for its stiffness and dynamic range, while mahogany adds warmth and a rich midrange. Together, they create a tone that works excellently for both fingerstyle and light flatpicking: balanced, direct, and with a sustain you won't soon forget. The scalloped X-brace allows the top to breathe freely and enhances its sensitivity to nuances in your attack.

The ziricote fretboard and bridge give the guitar a distinctive look and add an extra layer of clarity to the high notes. Waverly gold open gear tuners, abalone inlays, ivoroid binding, gold sparkle purfling, and a gold sparkle/black/white rosette complete an instrument that is perfect in every detail. Comes with a hardshell case.

A 00-guitar with the character of a much larger instrument.
