Taylor Builder's Edition 517th Grand Pacific WHB
V-Class bracing, Grand Pacific shape and a beautiful Wild Honey Burst finish
One of the highlights for us at NAMM 2019 was the news that Taylor had launched a new Body Shape. The so-called "Grand Pacific" shape can best be described as a Slope Shoulder Dreadnought, which gives the guitars a nice traditional look. This Taylor Builder's Edition 517e Grand Pacific WHB is finished in a beautiful Wild Honey Burst finish, which will undoubtedly make you stand out on stage with this guitar. The sides and back are made of Tropical Mahogany, which gives the guitar a particularly warm sound, and this is magnified by the Grand Pacific shape, which sounds grand without becoming undefined. Thanks to the V-Class Bracing, the projection of the guitar is unprecedented, and the instrument is completely balanced. Both high and low on the neck, every note counts and therefore comes into its own beautifully. The Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard feels comfortable, and the Expresion System 2 sounds great. Includes luxury case.
