The D'Addario EJ21 has been specially developed for the jazz guitarist seeking warmth, roundness and articulation. With a jazz light gauge of 12-52 and a wound G-string (24w), this set delivers the full, dark tone characteristic of jazz – without the sharpness of a plain G-string. The higher gauge provides more volume and sustain, ideal for archtop guitars and semi-acoustic models.
Wound with nickel-plated steel on a hexagonal steel core, the EJ21 delivers a warm, balanced tone with a soft attack and a rich midrange.
