Thanks to the XS coating, the strings last up to five times longer than uncoated alternatives, without losing their open, acoustic character. An excellent choice for guitarists who want more body in their sound but still want to play smoothly.
The coating protects the phosphor bronze winding against sweat and oxidation, while the 11-15-22-32-42-52 gauge offers a pleasant balance between playability and tone volume. Suitable for most steel-string acoustic guitars in standard tuning, and also useful for slightly dropped tunings or on guitars with a longer scale length.
