The sound of the Hyper Luminal is transparent, musical, and always under control. Depending on the chosen mode, the pedal behaves as a FET compressor, a VCA compressor, or an optical compressor, each with its own character and response. The touch-through-metal sensors for selecting the compression ratio and mode are a typical Darkglass detail: innovative, intuitive, and simply cool.
