The Depths by Earthquaker Devices is an analogue Univibe. We couldn't have come up with a better name for this pedal, because the sounds that are hidden in the troughs of this Univibe are, in a word, deep. As always with Earthquaker Devices, the controls of The Depths are very cleverly chosen, without becoming unnecessarily complex. Thanks to the Voice and Throb controls, you can adjust the Univibe completely to your taste, so that the effect comes into its own in every situation. Do you have a somewhat bright amplifier or guitar? Turn the Voice knob a bit closed for a warmer, thick sound. Do you want to give an overdriven amplifier an extra kick with a pulsating, lavish Univibe? With the Throb control, you can find the sweet spot in no time. Very cool!
