The ESP LTD JM-II Josh Middleton Signature: Progressive Metal Precision
Josh Middleton is the acclaimed guitarist of Sylosis and Architects — two bands that set the bar high for technical and progressive metal. His first ESP signature guitar, the JM-II, reflects his demanding playing style and his eye for detail. This is an instrument built for the guitarist who accepts no compromises.
Tonally, the JM-II is tailored to the modern progressive metal sound. The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers — alnico in the neck, ceramic in the bridge — offer multiple voices via the push-pull control: from a clear, articulate clean tone to an aggressive, cutting high-gain sound. The alder body with quilted maple top and string-thru-body Gotoh TOM bridge ensure a direct, tight response with plenty of sustain.
The three-piece roasted maple neck features an extra-thin U-profile for maximum playing speed, with a Macassar ebony fingerboard and 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets. LTD locking tuners ensure reliable tuning stability during intensive live use. Delivered including case.
