The Custom Shop Nocaster that proves Relic and sublime playability go hand in hand
Few guitars evoke the feel of the early 50s as directly as a Fender Custom Shop Nocaster. This '51 Nocaster in Faded Nocaster Blonde Relic is a pre-owned example in sublime condition: no play wear, no surprises, just a guitar that is perfect from headstock to tailpiece. The ash body gives it that characteristic light, resonant foundation you expect from the best Blackguard Teles, and you can hear it immediately, even acoustically.
Plugged in, the guitar unfolds a tone you won't soon forget. The hand-wound '50-'51 Blackguard Pickups deliver that dry, snappy twang with enough bite for country and rock-and-roll, but also the warmth for blues and roots. The '51-'54 Style Tele Bridge contributes to the direct, punchy response that makes this type of guitar so beloved. Thanks to the compound radius from 7.25" to 9.50", the neck plays smoothly everywhere, from open chords in the first position to bends high on the neck.
The rift-sawn maple neck has the iconic 1950 Blackguard profile: nice and chunky, but never cumbersome. The maple fretboard has 21 Medium Vintage frets on a 25.5" scale. The vintage-style tuners provide an authentic look that perfectly matches the Relic finish. Comes with Deluxe Hardshell Case.
