Limited to 5 pieces in Europe: the '64 ES-345 with Trapeze tailpiece, Varitone and Heavy Aged Murphy Lab in Iced Tea
The Gibson 1964 ES-345 Trapeze Tailpiece Varitone Murphy Lab Heavy Aged Iced Tea is a Dealer Select run produced especially for the UK and EU market by the artisans of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville. Limited to just 5 pieces per finish across Europe, this is one of the most exclusive Murphy Lab guitars Dijkmans Guitars has to offer.
The ES-345 is the middle model in the ES series: more luxurious than the ES-335 thanks to the split parallelogram inlays and the Varitone switch, but more accessible than the ES-355. The Varitone is a 6-position notch filter that colors the guitar's tone in six different ways, from full and warm to bright and filtered. The Trapeze tailpiece is historically correct for early sixties ES models and gives the guitar its own playing feel and sustain character. The Heavy Aged Murphy Lab treatment ensures pronounced wear in the nitro lacquer and heavily aged hardware.
Iced Tea finish, Trapeze tailpiece, Varitone, Heavy Aged Murphy Lab, limited to 5 pieces in Europe. This is the ES-345 for the serious collector and player. Supplied with hardshell case.
5 pieces in Europe. This is one of them.
