Two Custombucker Alnico III pickups, unpotted and tuned to 1959 PAF specifications, deliver an open, dynamic sound with rich harmonics and a transparency rarely found in modern guitars. The warm, honky tone of the '59 ES-335 with its characteristic mix of resonance and sustain is fully present here. The 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a center block gives the guitar its semi-hollow character.

The mahogany neck with Indian rosewood fretboard, Pearloid Dot inlays, and 22 frets on a 24.75" scale length offers familiar Gibson playability, now mirrored for the left-handed player.
