The King of the Flat-Tops now also for left-handed players: the SJ-200 Original in a rare left-handed version
The Gibson SJ-200 is one of the most iconic acoustic guitars in the world and rare in a left-handed version. The SJ-200 Original Left-handed finally offers left-handed guitarists access to the same specifications that made the model great: AAA flame maple back and sides with checkerboard marquetry, a solid AAA Sitka Spruce top and the 60s-specific nut of 1.687 inches. The Super Jumbo body projects with the volume and presence only the SJ-200 can offer, and does so for left-handers without compromise.
The sound is unmistakably SJ-200: enormous projection, full lows, bright highs, and a midrange with enough warmth for chord playing and enough definition for melodic lines. The LR Baggs VTC pickup makes the instrument ready for any stage with volume and tone controls discreetly integrated into the soundhole. The two-piece maple neck with walnut stringer has a Round profile with a rosewood fretboard, Mother-of-Pearl Graduated Crown inlays, and 20 frets over a 25.5-inch scale length.
The solid 60s SJ-200 Moustache bridge with bone saddle, Grover Rotomatic gold tuners, and TUSQ bridge pins complete an instrument that is in all respects identical to the right-handed version. The nitrocellulose Vintage Sunburst finish and the iconic SJ-200 silhouette make this one of the most impressive left-handed acoustic guitars currently available. Comes with hardshell case.
