Since 2021, Andrew Gouché, the godfather of gospel bassists, has been part of the Markbass family! A Grammy Award-winning producer with over 30 years of experience as a bassist for many R&B and gospel legends such as Prince and the New Power Generation, Gladys Knight, Andraé Crouch, The Winans, and musical director for Chaka Khan, he was regularly called for recording sessions in all genres. With his distinctive bass sound, Andrew has made an unmistakable mark on the history of gospel and R&B music.
After playing Markbass amplifiers at various events, Andrew fell in love with their tone and character. In collaboration with Andrew, the Markbass team has worked together over the past year to create an amplifier head with his own unique sound.
