There are few amplifiers with as rich a history as the Mesa/Boogie Mark series. What started with a real gain landslide in the form of the Mark I developed into this very impressive Mark FIVE:25. Like its predecessors, the Mark FIVE:25 bridges the gap between crystal clear cleans and muddy, saturated high gain lead sounds. This latest version is even brighter and tighter thanks to two EL84 tubes.

This 1x10 Combo almost sounds too good to be true. The bass is of course less dominant, but you only get more midrange bite and clarity in return. Like every Mark Series amplifier, this compact combo also has the well-known graphic equalizer and a very powerful presence control.

But let's talk about the elephant in the room : the Mark FIVE:25 is actually not even one amplifier, but several! You can choose from a number of preamp circuits from its predecessors. You have access to the Mark IIC+, Mark IV and Mark V preamps, resulting in unprecedentedly flexible gain staging. Combine this with the powerful tone stack and graphic EQ and the tonal options are endless!
